It provides a habitat for shrimp, crabs and small fish, while also serving as a feeding and resting ground for migratory birds. Here, you can find various common mangrove species in Hong Kong, including Kandelia, Bruguiera, Aegiceras, Avicennia, Excoecaria, Thespesia and Lumnitzera.
